A wild clone from Ruakaka, Northland which fruits readily on compost from Autumn through to early summer. An interesting fungus to observe and eating it is a geat experience to share. It grows on the same compost as field mushrooms but fruits earlier. Best picked just as the base of the cap starts to darken. Unlike the suggestions in many books, we have found these mushrooms can be picked and stored in the fridge for 2-3 days.Out of stock till May
